I am a pretender of the worst kind.

I recently descovered a Mac OS X dock emulator from RocketDock.

My computer will never be the same.

With this new dock plus Apple wallpaper I can pretend to have a $1500 computer when I actually have an early 2000s Dell.

Gone are the days of the ugly and awkward start bar, and a new era has begun of beauty and productivity. I cannot express how much I love this. It is a very small application that is quick as lightning to install and get up and running. Once it is, nearly everything is customizable. The position, icons, dock appearance, behaviors, size, and much more.

Also available are “docklets” which are small applications that are made to work with the dock. I currently have an optical drive ejector, clock, calendar, USB safe remove button, start menu button, and a show start bar button.

To install these, all you have to do is double click the C partition drive in My Computer, scroll down to Program Files, find the RocketDock folder (after installation of course) and copy and paste into the appropriate folder for the icon, skin, or docklet you have downloaded. Simple!

All in all, it is an amazing program, and it’s all for FREE. Thats free of charge, AND viruses.

Please try it, I do insist.
